Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, mourned a short while ago on the official page of the New Valley Governorate, Dr. Yasser Mahmoud, head of the center and city of Dakhla, who was killed in an accident in which the car he was traveling in overturned on a highway in the area of ​​kilometer 80 of the Dakhla-Kharga road.

The Governor of the New Valley said in a statement: We sadly mourn the death of Dr. Yasser Mahmoud, head of the Dakhla Center, asking God Almighty to shower him with mercy and forgiveness.

Major General Walid Mansour, Director of New Valley Security, received a report from the Rescue Department stating that a double cab belonging to the local unit of the Dakhla Center had overturned on the Dakhla-Kharga Road. The accident resulted in the death of Yasser Mahmoud Sayed, 51 years old, head of the Dakhla Center, and the injury of Adel Hassan Abdel Rahman, 46 years old, the driver of the car residing in Mut.
Civil protection vehicles were sent to extract the body of the head of the Dakhla police station from under the car, and an ambulance was sent to the accident site, and the injured driver was transferred to Dakhla General Hospital.
