The artist said Sawsan Badr She does not communicate directly with leader Adel Imam, but she checks on his health condition through his two sons, Muhammad and Rami Adel Imam.
Sawsan Badr added, during television statements, that Adel Imam is in good health, explaining that he is currently living in a state like a warrior’s rest, where he spends his time with his children and grandchildren in a calm atmosphere away from the limelight.
Sawsan Badr confirmed that she learned a lot during her artistic journey with him in a number of works, noting that she was his brilliant student, and that her experience with him was an important milestone in her artistic career.
Sawsan Badr explained that in her artistic debut, she participated with the artist Adel Imam, and presented with him the series Dreams of the Flying Boy, saying: I owe him credit for the success that I am currently achieving.
She said that her long artistic career witnessed more than 400 diverse works, noting that most of her works were successful and interesting, stressing that there were some works that were not at the required level due to external circumstances such as production, directing, or editing, and not necessarily the value of the role itself.
Sawsan Badr’s statements
Sawsan Badr added that there were some old jobs that I did not have the freedom to choose, saying: We were doing what was available, the purpose was to get to know people, and get the opportunity to work and earn a living.
She continued: Despite this, I loved some of the works even though they were unsuccessful because they were light-hearted and carried an important experience, explaining: I cannot identify a specific work that was completely bad, as there is always a mixture of successful and unsuccessful works, and the artist learns from every experience to become better.
Sawsan Badr confirmed that she does not deny that she sometimes bullies herself after displaying some of her works, noting that she spends hours following the comments, but she considers these experiences part of the artistic journey and continuous learning.
She also indicated that her mother, the late artist Amal Salem, instilled in her from a young age the value of discipline and respect for appointments, explaining that her mother considered life organized like a precise watch, and any delay or disruption in appointments was considered unacceptable.
Sawsan Badr added that this commitment has become an essential part of her daily life, and that learning from her mother’s experience taught her that regularity and discipline in time reflect a person’s respect for himself and others.
Sawsan Badr spoke about her mother’s great support for her artistic career and herself, explaining that her mother did not provide her with direct assistance in the beginning, but she was morally supportive and encouraging, as she urged her to pursue her passion, saying: “Do what you love.”
Sawsan Badr stressed that this encouragement helped her discover her talent and motivate her to commit to what she loves without direct interference in her practical or professional steps.
