Engineer Iman Ahmed Abbas, head of the Central District, led the project In Alexandria A massive campaign to raid Al-Fariza hotspots in Gharbal Muharram Bey as part of tightening legal procedures against violators who exploit lands and shops within residential blocks in the work of waste sorting and dismantling.

It resulted in the seizure of a large transport vehicle loaded with the sorting results. It was taken and deposited at the district general office. The sorting results were also delivered to Nahdet Misr Company.
This came in light of the directives and assignments issued by Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, regarding raiding garbage sorting points, in order to preserve the safety of citizens and reduce environmental pollution.
This comes within the framework of taking decisive measures to confront the phenomenon of Al-Fariza and Al-Nabisha, in order to preserve public health and achieve a clean and safe environment for citizens.
In a related context, the head of the same district led a massive campaign to remove the occupancies and barriers that hinder the movement of citizens and distort the civilized appearance.
It resulted in the removal of a large number of occupancies that were occupying roads and sidewalks, and causing obstruction to the movement of pedestrians and cars, with reservations on 195 various occupancies, and taking the necessary legal measures against violators.
It also included removing 65 iron barriers, stones and pieces of rubber that are used to unlawfully reserve parking spaces.
The Presidency of the Central District confirmed the continuation of daily campaigns to confront all forms of infringements, impose the rule of law, and preserve the right of citizens to use roads and sidewalks in a safe and orderly manner.
