This came as part of reviewing the situation of public lighting throughout the neighborhood, rationalizing street lighting, not allowing storefront lighting, and adhering to closing times to rationalize electricity.
The campaign headed to the Corniche Road, during which it was ensured that all shops were committed to not lighting the facades, in addition to emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the scheduled closing times to rationalize electricity.
This comes as part of a series of measures aimed at rationalizing electricity in order to preserve the state’s resources, as part of the governorate’s efforts to rationalize public lighting.
In a related context, the head of the Wasat district monitored traffic on Zain al-Abidin Street in Muharram Bek and Al-Zuhur Street in New Hatra, which was carried out by the Road Works Administration.
This came as a result of the continued field follow-up to ensure the discipline of the markets, and the removal of all the occupancy of cafes and shops and the encroachments of street vendors. During the traffic, the removal of all encroachments and the occupancy of street vendors was followed up, and the two streets were widened and opened to pedestrians and traffic, in addition to following up on the fixed and mobile concentrations in the two streets to prevent the return of the occupancy.
