Counselor Ahmed Bandari, Executive Director of the Authority, confirmed this National electionsThe process of voting by Egyptians abroad in the runoff round for the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections is nearing completion, praising the participation of Egyptians residing abroad and their keenness to perform their constitutional duty and contribute to completing the formation of the Parliament.

Bendari explained, during a press conference, that the last electoral delegation to begin voting is the Los Angeles delegation in the United States of America at exactly seven in the evening, city time, and that its committees will close at seven in the morning on December 17, 2025, to be the last electoral headquarters to end voting and begin the counting procedures.
He added that voting has already been closed and counting and counting work has begun in 31 electoral headquarters affiliated with Egyptian embassies, with continued follow-up to close the remaining 108 electoral headquarters around the world, according to time differences, with full compliance with regulating legal procedures.
Regarding voting inside the country, the Executive Director of the National Elections Authority announced the launch of the runoff round for the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections after a few hours, in 55 electoral districts distributed in 13 governorates, to compete for 101 seats, through 4,494 subcommittees, confirming the completion of preparations and full readiness of all electoral headquarters.
Bendari pointed out that the runoff includes the governorates of Cairo, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, Menoufia, Gharbia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Sharqia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, and South Sinai, explaining that some governorates are being runoff in all electoral districts.
The Executive Director of the Authority stressed that the voting process takes place within a framework of complete integrity and transparency, while providing all means of insurance and organization to ensure the freedom of voters and the integrity of the electoral process, stressing that the voter is the decision-maker and has the highest say, and that the Authority stands at the same distance from all candidates.
At the conclusion of his statements, Bandari called on citizens to come out and participate positively and not to give up their constitutional right, noting that the National Elections Authority will hold two press conferences daily at 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., on December 17 and 18, 2025, to inform public opinion and the media about the course of the electoral process and its developments.
