Counselor Ahmed Bandari, Executive Director of the Authority, revealed National electionsOver the course of two voting days, the Commission received 221 complaints, including only one complaint related to electoral bribery.
Bandari explained, in a press conference for the Commission, that part of these complaints were submitted by political parties, including 4 complaints submitted by the Mostaqbal Watan Party during the two election days.
The election committees closed the ballot boxes in the governorates of the second phase, for the House of Representatives elections, after the end of the official time set by the National Elections Authority, at exactly nine o’clock in the evening.
The second phase of the House of Representatives elections witnessed a significant turnout from young people and women, as voting continued throughout Monday and Tuesday.
Counselor Ahmed Bandari, director of the executive branch of the National Elections Authority, said that Dakahlia Governorate witnessed the storming of a subcommittee by the son of one of the candidates.
Voting has ended in the second phase of the House of Representatives elections
Regarding the 2025 House of Representatives elections, Bendari added, during a press conference of the authority: The son of the 78th Committee candidate stormed into the Al-Satomouni Center in Dakahlia, broke the box and scattered the papers. The incident was dealt with and the perpetrator of the incident was presented with a memorandum to the Public Prosecution.
