Xiaomi has finally launched the iPad 8 outside China. Initially available at a discount of more than 10%, the Xiaomi iPad 8 outperforms its predecessor with a much faster processing chip to complement a 144Hz screen, a large battery, and 45W charging.

Xiaomi has finally launched the iPad 8 tablet outside China. The iPad 8 originally arrived in Xiaomi’s home market last September, where it was launched alongside the more expensive iPad 8 Pro. While this also applies to the Xiaomi 17, the iPad 8 remains unchanged in its global release as Xiaomi’s flagship compact smartphone.

As such, the iPad 8 features the world’s fourth-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S chipset with a 9,200 mAh battery. According to our own performance tests, this should give the iPad 8 a roughly 40% performance improvement over the older iPad 7 (currently available for $354.99 on Amazon). The new tablet also contains an 11.2-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 3.2K, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 800 nits.

The price of the Xiaomi iPad 8 starts at €449.90 (about $530) in the Eurozone with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Alternatively, the device can be configured with twice the storage but the same amount of RAM for an additional €50.

However, both memory configurations can be obtained at a discount of 50 euros until March 14. Xiaomi also offers accessories for the Focus Pen Pro and the detachable keyboard, but not as free gifts as is the case with the iPad 8 Pro. Please visit the company’s website for more details.
