Redmi has finally set the official launch date for the Turbo 5 series of phones in the Chinese market. It also reviewed the Turbo 5 Max version in a new orange color and revealed some design details for the series.
The company confirmed through a post on the Weibo platform that the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max phones will be officially unveiled in China on January 29. In addition to the phones, Redmi will also announce the Buds 8 Pro headphones and the Pad 2 Pro Harry Potter Edition device during the same event.

Regarding the design, the company explained that the Turbo 5 series will adopt a metal frame manufactured using CNC technology, with curved corners and a fiberglass back panel, in addition to a dual LED flash.
As for the Turbo 5 Max version, it will be offered in two color options: blue and orange. The phone will also work with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, and will come with a huge 9000 mAh battery with support for 100-watt fast wired charging.
