The OnePlus 13 phones received the Bypass Charging feature and the ability to edit 50-megapixel photos with the new OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 update, after the Bypass Charging feature got to the OnePlus 15 last month via the OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 update.
The OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 update also includes the January 2026 security patch for Android, as well as user experience improvements.
The new version allows Photos app users to edit high-resolution images (up to 50 million pixels) without affecting image quality.
Among the most prominent features of the update:
- Supports high-resolution image editing in the Photos app without losing details.
- Adding the bypass charging feature, which allows the phone to be used while charging in gaming situations, live streaming, watching video, navigation, or any activity that requires a high load, while protecting the battery and reducing heat.
- Improved the classification of applications in Drawer mode by adding “Office” and “Finance” categories to facilitate access to applications.
- Enhance system security by incorporating the January 2026 security patch.
- Privacy improvements: Ability to browse files in Private Safe, search for files within folders, and share files easily.
- Communications improvements: Adding a “Reply with SMS” key to hide the option to respond with text messages on the incoming calls screen, under Contacts → Settings → Answer/End calls → Reply with SMS.

The update carries version number CPH2649_16.0.3.501(EX01), and is currently available to a limited number of users, with the wider rollout beginning in the coming days.
