Lenovo launched its 14-inch IdeaPad 5a 2-in-1 laptop and convertible computer in global markets to provide a flexible and advanced user experience. This new device relies entirely on the advanced Gorgon Point platform from AMD to provide superior performance that meets the needs of users. The computer comes with the option of adding a wonderful OLED screen and a 60-watt-hour battery to ensure long and continuous periods of operation, whether for work or entertainment anywhere.

This step represents a significant upgrade compared to previous tenth generation versions that relied on AMD’s Strix Point architecture, which is available at a price of $575. This year, Lenovo decided to move its new convertible device to Gorgon Point processors, which offer greater processing power and more stable performance to meet the requirements of modern programs and heavy applications that professionals and students need to accomplish their daily tasks with high efficiency and excellent response speed.

Lenovo offers the possibility of customizing the new computer with multiple processor options, including the Ryzen AI 5 430 processor, the Ryzen AI 5 435 processor, and the Ryzen AI 7 445 processor in most markets. These three processors are based on the Zen 5 architecture, where the first version is approximately 15% behind the most powerful version, while the second version settles in the middle. All of these processors use an integrated Radeon 840M graphics unit based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture to provide good graphics performance.

Lenovo offers excellent screen options, including IPS panels or OLED panels that support 1200p resolution and reach a peak brightness of 400 nits with a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a glossy finish. The device supports the allocation of DDR5-5600 random memory with a capacity of 16 GB or 32 GB with a storage space of 512 GB or 1 TB, and all models include a battery with a capacity of 60 watts per hour that supports fast charging with a capacity of 65 watts to ensure continuity of work.

The price of the new IdeaPad 5a 2-in-1 computer starts at 849 US dollars for the standard version and increases gradually based on the selected specifications. The price reaches 1,319 US dollars for the highest-end version equipped with a Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage space, with an OLED screen and Windows 11 Pro, while the basic versions are available at a price of 1,100 euros in the Eurozone, 1,189 Canadian dollars in Canada, 1,829 Australian dollars in Australia, and 960 British pounds in the United Kingdom.
