The Korean Galaxy S26 phone recorded a new appearance on the Geekbench platform after the US market versions of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra, with model numbers SM-S942U and SM-S948U, previously passed the tests with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This time, the South Korean model SM-S942N underwent testing, confirming the certification of the Exynos 2600 processor.

According to Geekbench results, the phone came with 12 GB of RAM, ran on Android 16, and is expected to be equipped with the One UI 8.5 interface. In the same context, the Exynos 2600 is the first processor in the world to adopt Samsung’s 2nm manufacturing technology via the advanced GAA node.

The processor includes a 10-core central processing unit based on ARM cores of the C1-Ultra and C1-Pro categories. Samsung confirms that this new generation achieves a performance increase of up to 39% compared to the Exynos 2500 processor.

Although early performance tests do not always reflect the final picture, the current numbers give a first indication of the differences between the versions. The Galaxy S26 with the Snapdragon processor achieved a result of 3378 points in the single-core test, while the Exynos version scored about 3315 points, while the Galaxy S25 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor reached 3175 points.

In terms of graphics, Geekbench indicated the use of a Samsung Xclipse 960 graphics processor, although it was not included in the detailed test.

Samsung had announced that this graphics processor provides almost double the computing power, in addition to improving ray tracing performance by 50% compared to the previous generation Exynos 2500. Unofficial leaks indicate that the architecture may depend on RDNA 4, instead of RDNA 2 used in previous generations.

Currently, the markets that will get the Exynos version of the Galaxy S26 are still not completely confirmed. However, there are reports of its launch in South Korea and Europe, awaiting the emergence of test results for the European version to confirm this information.
