The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Beheira Governorate, headed by Mohamed Rajab Hadiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, and Suhair Zaatar, Undersecretary of the Directorate, and under the supervision of Yasser Al-Muhandis, Director of Supply Control, continued its campaigns on municipal bakeries, maintaining support and ensuring it reaches those who deserve it, and apprehending violators of laws and ministerial decisions in the field of municipal bakeries.
Violating municipal bakeries were found during supply campaigns in Beheira
A ration campaign was launched at Damanhour Center, under the supervision of Adel Abu Al-Futouh, head of the ration control department in the directorate, and headed by Islam Zein Al-Din and Al-Husseini Al-Sayed, inspectors of ration control in the directorate.
The campaign seized a bakery for disposing of a quantity of local flour amounting to 8 bags of flour by selling them on the black market to make illegal profits, and seized 9 bakeries for producing bread underweight, up to 19 grams per loaf.
Two bakeries were also arrested for stopping production without prior permission or a compelling excuse. The presence or absence of fake sales is being reviewed at the time of stopping, and a violation will be issued for not having a visit record for the bakery at the time of the visit.
