Samsung is preparing to support the Galaxy S26 series with new features, most notably the addition of magnets built into the phones to provide full support for the Qi2 standard, instead of relying only on magnetic cases as happened with the S25 series. However, the user will still need magnetic cases to get the best experience.
According to a report from WinFuture, Samsung will offer a wide range of official cases, most of which will be available for all models of the series. But what is strange is that the carbon wallet will not support the Ultra version without explaining the reason. It includes the following portfolios:
Samsung Black Carbon Magnetic Case for Galaxy S26 and S26+
- Samsung clear case for S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra
- Samsung Magnetic Clear Case for all models
- Samsung Magnetic Rugged Clear Cover in Black for all models
- Samsung Magnetic Silicone Case for all models in black and grey
- Samsung Dual Magnetic Ring Holder for all models

In addition, Samsung is developing a magnetic power bank with a capacity of 5000 mAh, called Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack (model number EB-U2500). It has already been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium with the Qi v2.1.0 MPP standard.
The design of this power bank seems a little strange; It has slots above the coil ring, unlike most Qi batteries that come in a flat design so that it fits on the back of the phone easily.
This design may be an attempt to avoid the camera area on Galaxy S phones, which are traditionally arranged in a column at the top left. On the other hand, iPhone and Pixel phones avoid this problem thanks to the horizontal design of their cameras.
Leaks indicate that Samsung will not change the design of the cameras in the S26 series, and may adopt the same setup as the S25 series cameras entirely.
On the positive side, the company intends to upgrade the speed of wireless charging; The S26 Ultra will support 25W charging, while the S26 and S26+ will get 20W wireless charging instead of 15W in the previous generation.
This is thanks to the new 25W Qi2 standard. Samsung has also developed a new 25-watt wireless charger called EP-P2900, but its certification has not yet appeared.
