Leaks are increasing about the imaging system in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra phone, and the latest information coming from China indicates the company’s intention to address some of the problems that appeared in previous generations.

The well-known leaker Ice Universe published a blog post on the Weibo platform, revealing that the phone will receive improvements that clearly reduce the phenomenon of light reflection (Lens Flare) during photography.

In addition, the leaks confirm that Samsung is enhancing the lenses with more advanced coating layers and optical processing, which contributes to reducing distortions and improving the realism of colors.

The information also indicates that skin tones will not tend to yellow as was the case in some previous photos, which may be reflected in the accuracy of colors and the realism of everyday shots.

As for the hardware level, previous rumors mention that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with a 12-megapixel front camera (Sony IMX874), while the back will include four cameras:

  • 200MP main camera (ISOCELL HP2),
  • 50MP Wide Camera (Samsung JN3),
  • 50MP periscope telephoto camera (IMX854),
  • And an additional 12MP telephoto camera (Samsung S5K3LD).

The leaks also indicate that the main sensor is the same as that used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but the aperture will see a noticeable change. It is expected to come with an aperture of f/1.4 instead of f/1.7, which may allow more light to enter and improve performance in low light, thus raising the quality of details and reducing noise.

These developments, if true, may make the Galaxy S26 Ultra offer a more mature and balanced photography experience, with direct improvements targeting the most prominent criticisms received by the previous generation.
