Perplexity has announced the launch of a new feature called Perplexity Health, which aims to provide accurate, evidence-based medical answers, relying on user health data from multiple sources.
The feature relies on collecting data from various health applications, devices and platforms, then analyzing the indicators and tracking them over time. Thanks to this, the smart assistant can provide personalized health information, including fitness and nutrition plans suitable for each user.
Perplexity also uses data from the Apple Health platform alongside other services such as Fitbit, Ultrahuman and Withings, with plans to support more platforms in the future such as Oura and Function. Currently, the company has begun rolling out the feature to Pro and Max users within the United States.

To ensure information is accurate, Perplexity trained its system on electronic medical records from more than 1.7 million healthcare providers, as well as trusted medical references and peer-reviewed scientific journals. The company also formed an advisory board that includes doctors, researchers, and experts to review the quality of the content and ensure the application of medical safety standards.
This step comes after Perplexity’s recent cooperation with Samsung, where its technologies were integrated into the Galaxy AI system.
