After weeks of intermittently leaking information about its new mobile device, Mangmi has finally decided to reveal the full specifications of the Pocket Max phone, in a move believed to be a prelude to an upcoming official launch.
The Pocket Max comes with a 7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The device is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is the same processor used in the AYN Thor Lite and Retroid Pocket 5 devices.

According to the official specifications, the device will be available in only one version that includes 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Mangmi provides an 8,000 mAh battery with up to 27W charging via the USB-C port, which also supports video output. Other ports include a 3.5mm headphones jack and a MicroSD slot.
The device also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, comes with an active cooling fan, and runs Android 13 directly from the factory.
The Pocket Max features asymmetric TMR joysticks with RGB lighting, Hall Effect switches, a six-axis G-sensor, as well as a detachable magnetic D-Pad and ABXY. The device also provides two customizable back buttons.
The Pocket Max weighs 450 grams, which makes it heavier than some of its competitors such as the AYN Odin 3 and Konkr Pocket Fit, which weigh 390 and 386 grams, respectively.
The dimensions of the device are 254.87 x 101.06 x 17.45 mm. Mangmi confirmed that the device will be available in white, black and Retro GB colours.
Mangmi is expected to soon reveal the official launch date and price of the device.
