LG announced its new TV lineup during CES 2026 in Las Vegas, held from January 4 to 9, 2026, focusing on three main categories: Wallpaper TV, Gallery TV and Micro RGB TV, along with improvements to traditional OLED TVs.
The LG W6 Wallpaper TV features an ultra-slim design that is about the size of a pencil, with full wireless connectivity and just one power cable, and is available in a 100-inch size. It relies on OLED technology with Hyper Radiant Color to improve black and color levels, and Brightness Booster Ultra that increases brightness 3.9 times compared to traditional OLED, with a reflection-free screen. It is powered by an Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor with NPU for image enhancement and zoom, and supports generative AI features via Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. Comes with a wireless One Connect Box that is placed up to 10 meters away for input management.
As for Gallery TV, it is designed in collaboration with museum experts to accurately display works of art, with a Gallery Mode that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast, magnetic edges that resemble frames, and anti-reflective screens. It relies on Mini LED panels to avoid burn-in, but its colors and contrast aren’t up to the level of LG’s high-end OLED TVs.
As for the Micro RGB TV, it relies on Mini LED technology to cover a much wider color gamut, with the 100-inch model offering rich colors and realistic picture texture, but it outperforms OLED in colors but lower in contrast and blacks due to the nature of the backlight.
Wallpaper TV improvements like Hyper Radiant Color and Brightness Booster Ultra carry over to the G6 OLED models, with improvements in the C6 and others, with the G6 showing a brighter picture especially in HDR than the previous generation. LG also offers traditional OLED and LED TVs for variety.
LG has not announced specific prices for the new models, but they are expected to be available in the market during 2026, with a focus on competing with TVs such as The Frame from Samsung in the decorative design category.
