Indian startup Brave, which is not related to the Brave browser, launched its first Android tablet under the name Brave Ark, targeting the work and study categories with a device with great capabilities.
The device combines a 12.95-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1840 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and runs Android 15 with a dedicated desktop mode.
This mode supports operating fully resizable windows to enhance multitasking, and the USB-C port also allows connecting a second external monitor.
The device is based on the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which still provides strong performance, and currently comes in one version that includes 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards for expansion.
Brave supplies its device with a huge 14,550 mAh battery, which is one of the largest in the tablet category, yet maintains a slim thickness of 7.6 mm. The battery supports 33-watt charging via USB-PD.

The company directed the device towards productive use, so it provides an optional keyboard that attaches magnetically and works via pogo pin connectors. The screen also supports the Ark Pen stylus with a tracking rate of 240 Hz, a response time of less than 10 milliseconds, with 4096 levels of pressure and support for a tilt angle exceeding 50 degrees. The pen works with a battery that lasts up to 12 hours and is magnetically attached to the device.
For entertainment, Brave equipped the device with an 8-speaker audio system with DTS Audio support, including four speakers for low volume and four for high volume.
