You may be seeing more live videos on Instagram, Instagram Live not just from regular users, but from celebrities, news reporters and others. With these tools now being the only resource available for live communication with others, more people are turning to Instagram Live and similar platforms. \
In fact we are seeing a 60% increase in Instagram Live views. The Instagram Live feature is available within the app on Android and iOS. You can find it by tapping on the camera icon that you normally do to post an Insta story.

How to broadcast live on Instagram

In the top-right corner of the feed, or swipe left from anywhere in the feed.
- Scroll to live feed at the bottom of the screen, then tap

- The number of viewers appears at the top of the screen, while comments appear at the bottom.
- You can add a comment by clicking comment At the bottom of the screen.
- Tap a comment, then tap Install suspension To pin it so viewers can see it more easily.
- When you’re done, press ending in the upper left corner, then tap to confirm. There, you can press
in the top right corner to save it to your camera roll, or share it on IGTV.

Countdown to your Instagram Live
It’s always a good idea to let your followers know in advance about your Instagram Live session.
You can do this using the countdown sticker from the Stories section.
Simply select it and add the time you will go live.
Once the countdown ends, your followers will be notified about your Instagram Live.
Connection test
Before starting your Instagram Live, check if you have a secure internet connection.
It is best to use a Wi-Fi connection for a smooth and uninterrupted connection.
Mobile data usage may interrupt your Instagram Live from time to time if the connection quality is poor.
