Honor has launched a new budget Android tablet called Pad X8b. The device features an 11-inch screen, a metal body, and a large battery. However, it is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor, which is the same processor found in the Honor Pad 8 that was launched in 2022.
Honor has confirmed that it will launch its flagship MagicPad 4 tablet globally. Before that, the company has now introduced a new budget Android tablet in Saudi Arabia: Honor Pad X8b.
Pad X8b features a metal body with a thickness of 7.25 mm and a weight of 496 grams. The tablet has an 11-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a density of 207 pixels per inch. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and holds TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and a flicker-free experience.
The Honor Pad X8b uses a chip Snapdragon 680 Along with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. For reference, Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 680 in October 2021. It has powered several tablets, including the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE, which scored around 201k points on the AnTuTu v9 test in our review.
Honor Pad X8b has a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of software, it uses the MagicOS 10 interface based on the Android 16 operating system. It should be noted that the Pad X8b has a 10,100 mAh battery and a quad-speaker setup.
The tablet (Wi-Fi model) was launched in Saudi Arabia in one color option, Space Gray. The retail price is 849 Saudi riyals, which translates to approximately $226. However, the company is currently offering it at a discounted price of 649 Saudi riyals (about $173). At the time of writing, there is no official information about availability in other regions.
