Google Photos recently added a new feature that may become one of its most successful additions in a long time, as it now allows you to create memes in which you are the star of the content yourself.
The feature, called Me Meme, works via generative AI to deliver funny and personalized memes based on ready-made templates. You can use the application’s template gallery, or upload any meme you want to use as a template, provided that there is a photo of you.
To use the feature, open the Google Photos app, tap Create at the bottom of the screen, then choose Me Meme. Next, select the desired template, press Add photo to choose your photo, and then press Generate to create the meme. After you create it, you can save the meme, recreate it, or share it directly.
It should be noted that the feature is currently only available in the United States.
