Dreame unveiled the Leaptic Cube action camera, designing it to offer high flexibility in shooting styles thanks to a detachable 8K camera module.

The camera module is based on a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch sensor and offers a dynamic range of up to 13.5 stops. It uses an f/2.8 aperture lens with a wide 155-degree field of view, allowing for wider and clearer scenes to be captured.

The separate unit shoots up to 30 meters away from the main body, with video transmitted wirelessly via ProSync technology for up to 90 minutes, according to the company.

The main body houses a 2.27-inch LCD touchscreen to control settings. The operating time reaches about 200 minutes when the camera is mounted on the body, whether facing forward or backward.

A 4nm AI processor processes photos and videos, applying features such as scene optimization, object tracking, audio enhancement, and AI-powered natural beauty effects.

The camera integrates the Moko smart voice assistant, which allows changing settings and controlling shooting via voice commands even without precise formulation, and also supports control via hand gestures to increase ease of use.

Videos are saved to 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 1TB. Videos are recorded in 10-bit P-Log format to preserve wider color information in HDR content and facilitate post-processing.
