Casio has launched two new Sheen watches, the SHW-5300CGL-7A and SHW-5300PGL-7A, in Japan. This model is radio-controlled, equipped with Tough Solar charging technology, and water-resistant to 100 meters. Each version features an ion-plated metal case and a genuine leather strap with an embossed pattern.

Casio has unveiled two new Sheen watches in Japan, and the brand uses three words to describe its Sheen collection: elegant, smart and bright. The Casio Sheen SHW-5300 analog watches are radio-controlled watches (in Japan and China only) with a fully automatic calendar. The three hands are said to remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month if there is no radio reception. In addition, these watches have metallic gray indices and a basic date display at 3 o’clock.

The Casio Sheen SHW-5300 has an extended battery life thanks to Tough Solar charging technology, and is water-resistant to 10 ATM. Both variants have a rose gold ion-plated stainless steel case and an anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal. However, while the SHW-5300CGL-7A has a beige patterned leather strap, the SHW-5300PGL-7A has a black leather strap that features a similar pattern.

In Japan, the Casio Sheen SHW-5300CGL-7A and SHW-5300PGL-7A watches retail for 35,200 yen (about $224) each, and are currently available for pre-order, with the official launch scheduled for sometime in February 2026. It is unclear whether the company plans to bring a version of these watches to other markets such as North America or Europe, where it has previously released models such as SHE-4554GYM-8A.
