In iOS 26.2, Apple introduced the ability to add large, clear, full-screen alerts for reminders, but the Cannot Ignore app takes this idea a step further, as it allows you to sync calendar events and get prominent alerts for them, to ensure that you do not forget any important event.
Cannot Ignore allows any of your calendars or reminder lists to be synced, providing clear alerts for any reminder or event. You can also sync just individual events or reminders, if you don’t want to alert every event from a specific calendar. If you often miss calendar events, syncing an entire calendar can be very useful.
The app provides control over which calendars you want to sync, so you can receive alerts for work-only events or personal events, depending on your need.
The app also takes travel time into account, so you’ll be alerted when you need to leave your location to attend an in-person event, instead of just reminding you 10 minutes before it starts.
You can add custom alert sounds for each type of event, such as one for work events and another for personal events. The application also provides an important feature, which is synchronizing links from calendar events. For example, if you have a Zoom meeting, you can open it directly from the highlighted notification without having to open the app again.
Cannot Ignore is available for $0.99 on the App Store, without ads or in-app purchases, and works on devices running iOS 26 and later.
