Belkin has announced the ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter, a wireless display transfer system from laptops, tablets or smartphones to another display without the need for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The device consists of a USB-C transmitting dongle and a USB-A to HDMI receiver that connects to your TV, monitor, or projector. Supports wireless transmission up to 40 meters (131 feet).
The device supports 1080p resolution at 60Hz, with a delay time of less than 80ms. Compatible with devices that support DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C, including Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS PCs, iPad Pro and iPad Air with M1 and M2 processors, and smartphones that support video output. It also supports screen sharing from up to 8 transmitters simultaneously.
The device costs $150 and is available in black. It’s not on sale yet, but it’s expected to be released in early 2026.
