The Nubia brand, a subsidiary of ZTE, is preparing to launch its new gaming phone, the Neo 5 GT, to be officially unveiled during the MWC 2026 events in Barcelona between March 2 and 5. Through it, the company aims to provide an advanced gaming experience at a price accessible to a wider segment of users.
The active cooling system stands out as the most important feature of the phone. Nubia integrates a dedicated internal fan, a feature often limited to flagship gaming phones. This system works in conjunction with a large evaporation chamber to maintain stable frame rates and reduce thermal throttling during long gaming sessions.
The phone is based on the Unisoc T9100 processor, and although it is not classified in the top category, the cooling system gives it an additional boost to achieve stable performance. The experience is supported by a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, which enhances the smoothness and clarity of the display.

Nubia enhances the gaming character by adding R1 and L1 shoulder buttons, along with a built-in gyroscope to improve aiming accuracy, and a Z-axis linear vibration motor to provide a more realistic tactile response. The audio system also relies on stereo speakers that support DTS:X Ultra.
The company provides the phone with a huge 6000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. In terms of photography, the device includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera with NEOVISION technology, in addition to an 8-megapixel front camera.
The company is expected to soon reveal details of the price and availability in the market.
