Withings announced the new generation of its smart scale, Body Scan, during the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas on January 5, 2026. It is an update to the previous version with an expansion in the number of vital indicators that it measures to 60 different indicators, compared to 40 in the previous version. The device focuses on measuring body composition with high accuracy, including the percentage of fat, muscle, water, and bone, with new additions such as measuring sweating rate, skin temperature, and indicators of neurological and vascular health.

Body Scan uses multipolar handpiece technology to accurately measure the upper body, while supporting pulse rate measurement, assessing vascular health, and detecting early signs of diseases such as diabetes or heart disease. The device supports the Withings Health Mate application to track data over time, with the ability to share it with doctors, and it operates with a rechargeable battery that lasts up to a full year.

Withings did not announce a specific price for the new version, but the previous version was priced at $399, and the new price is expected to range between $400 and $500, with it being available in the markets during the first half of 2026.
