Vivo does not expect to replace its flagship phone, the The phone is currently being talked about as the X300 Ultra after the recent launch of the X300 and X300 Pro.

In a reiteration of previous rumours, Smart Pikachu indicates that Vivo is working on launching the phone during the first quarter of 2026, to compete with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Samsung’s upcoming alternative to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to the information of the leaker Digital Chat Station, who reported last week that Vivo is planning to launch the phone in March, the company is targeting a short time window not exceeding one year after the launch of the X200 Ultra in China. While expectations are pointing to the possibility of a global launch, none of the leakers have revealed confirmed details yet.

Instead, Smart Pikachu hinted that Vivo is preparing to offer a major battery upgrade over the X200 Ultra, which comes with a 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery in all markets. In contrast, the X300 carries a 6,040 mAh battery, while the X300 Pro comes with a larger capacity of 6,510 mAh outside Europe.

Leaks indicate that the X300 Ultra will exceed all these numbers to reach a battery of approximately 7,000 mAh. However, it is still unclear whether it will come close to the Oppo Find X9 Pro’s 7,500 mAh battery.

Vivo plans to support the phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with camera improvements, including a 35 mm main lens and the new Sony Lytia 901 sensor.
