Yasser Rayyan, the former Al-Ahly club star, spoke about a number of issues in Egyptian football, in addition to his opinion on Mohamed Salah’s future with Liverpool.
Yasser Rayyan: Zizou’s performance was shocking, and the spirit of Al-Ahly moved to Zamalek
Ryan said, during television statements, that Mohamed Salah is considered one of the legends of world football, and he hopes to end his career in European stadiums.
He added that Zamalek represents Egyptian football, stressing his support for the team in its confrontation with CS Belouizdad, stressing the importance of achieving a positive result and not conceding goals in the first leg.
He pointed out that Zamalek fans represent a decisive element in the team’s recent brilliance, explaining that the “Ahly spirit” that everyone has become accustomed to in recent years has transferred to Zamalek.
He continued that Zamalek should focus on winning the Confederation Championship, because it represents a great morale boost, stressing the importance of the stability of the formation and defensive commitment during the confrontation with Belouizdad.
In another context, Rayyan criticized Al-Ahly’s performance, pointing out that the team is going through an unusual period, with problems inside the locker room that affected the collective performance, as each player plays individually.
He concluded his statements by emphasizing that the level of Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” in the recent period was shocking, pointing out that the Egyptian player needs a coach with a strong personality, considering that a calm coach does not suit the nature of the players.
