Zamalek Club continues its serious steps to complete its contract with the Palestinian player Hamed Hamdan, the Petrojet midfielder, during the upcoming winter transfer period, despite the continuing suspension crisis that the club is currently suffering from, which has caused a state of anxiety among Petrojet management regarding the completion of the deal.

A source within the Zamalek club confirmed in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that the club’s management is still committed to including Hamed Hamdan next January, according to the prior agreement with Petrojet, which includes all financial terms and the official transfer date for the player, indicating that things are moving in a positive direction.
The source explained that Hamed Hamdan’s great desire to wear the Zamalek shirt was an important factor in continuing the negotiations with the same strength, especially since Hamed Hamdan expressed his commitment to joining the white team, and refused to enter into official negotiations with other clubs during the last period.
The source indicated that the Zamalek administration reassured its counterpart in Petrojet regarding the registration crisis, stressing that the club is working during the current period to end the pending files related to late financial dues, in preparation for lifting the registration suspension before the official start of the winter transfer period.
The source concluded his statements by emphasizing that Zamalek will activate its agreement with Petrojet to include Hamed Hamdan as soon as the registration is released, stressing that the deal is one of the club’s priorities, given the player’s strong technical abilities, in addition to being a deal that Zamalek needs in the midfield.
