Zamalek will meet Ceramica Cleopatra tomorrow, Tuesday, at five o’clock in the evening, in the round of 16 of the Egypt Cup, at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.
Zamalek is seeking to win the Ceramica Cleopatra match, and qualify for the quarter-finals to face Talaea El Gaish.
Before facing Ceramica Cleopatra, Zamalek defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the African Confederation Championship.
Technical Director Motamed Gamal hopes to continue the journey of victories, and overcome the obstacle of Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egypt Cup.
On the other hand, the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Captain Hussein Labib, extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the security authorities for the great cooperation and effort they provided in securing and facilitating the transportation of buses of White Castle fans from Cairo to Ismailia, to support the first football team during its confrontation against Kaizer Chiefs, at the conclusion of the group stage matches of the African Confederation Cup.
The White Council thanked Major General Mohamed Amer, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Ismailia Security, for his keenness to communicate directly with club officials to ensure the safe return of the fans to Cairo, and to confirm that no injuries occurred, and that what happened was limited to the collision of two buses, which resulted in part of the glass of one of them being shattered.
