Bashir Jabr, correspondent for the Cairo News Channel in Al-Zawaida in the Gaza Strip, said that the pace of military operations is still high in various areas of the Strip, especially in the eastern regions, explaining that the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood witnessed at dawn today an advance of Israeli military vehicles from the areas classified as “yellow” towards the “white” areas adjacent to them, over limited distances, coinciding with heavy shooting towards citizens’ homes and property.
He added, during an intervention with the journalist, Basant Akram, on the “Cairo News” channel, that the Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Tuffah, and Al-Shuja’iya, all of which are located east of Gaza. A similar pace of shelling was also recorded in the northern Gaza Strip, specifically in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, due to artillery deployed along the eastern border of Gaza.
