Slott said in his statements after the victory over Brighton in the FA Cup: The matter does not stop at scoring a goal tonight. Salah made a wonderful assist with his right foot, but from my point of view, the great work he does without the ball is a very positive help to the team.
The Reds coach added: He did that against Manchester City and Sunderland, and he repeated it again tonight. What I like most about Salah is his defensive commitment and supporting his teammates, and this is exactly what the team needs.

Regarding the competition in the FA Cup, Slott explained: This tournament is very difficult and is comparable to the Champions League in its strength. The only difference is that the FA Cup does not include clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain.

In another context, Slott agreed with Mohamed Salah in describing his colleague Dominik Soboslai as one of the elite players in the world, saying: I completely agree with Salah. Soboslai is a wonderful player and an example of the model we follow at Liverpool.
He concluded: We signed him from Leipzig as a young player known for his physical strength, and he was already good when he joined, but now he has developed amazingly and is much better than he was two and a half years ago.
