Mehdi Soliman, goalkeeper of the Zamalek club’s first football team, expressed his happiness at qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup final after a goalless draw with CS Belouizdad in the second leg of the semi-final.

The player said in statements after the match: “I congratulate the players, the technical staff and the great Zamalek fans for achieving the goal and qualifying for the final in order to continue competing for the title.”
He continued: “We achieved a positive result in the first leg, and today was a difficult confrontation against a strong team, and we are looking forward to winning the title to make the fans happy.”
The Zamalek team qualified for the final of the African Confederation Cup with a goalless draw against Algeria’s CS Belouizdad, in the match that was held at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the semi-final of the tournament, so Al-Abyad benefited from its victory in the first leg with a goal without a response.
