Iranian parliamentary committee: We have prepared proposals for negotiations with Washington and are not optimistic about the results

The committee stressed that it is not optimistic about the results of the negotiations with Washington, noting that Tehran’s participation in these talks comes with the aim of convincing public opinion and responding to the positions of US President Donald Trump.

The committee stressed that the country is in a state of complete readiness, warning that any new attack will be met, as it put it, by targeting all American interests in the region.

These statements come in light of the continuing tension between Tehran and Washington, and the differing positions regarding the future of the negotiations and the potential agreement.

In a related context, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi said that his country is ready to consider making concessions to reach a nuclear agreement with the United States, if Washington expresses a willingness to discuss lifting the sanctions imposed on Tehran, according to what Reuters reported.
