Details: Ashraf Zaki filed a report regarding the incident of Reham Abdel Ghafour’s filming: We asked the production companies to provide protection

Ashraf Zaki explained that the report is not limited to the person who filmed it only, but includes everyone who posted or commented offensively, stressing that violating privacy is a crime punishable by law.

He added, in a telephone interview via Extra News channel, that the union officially requested the Public Prosecution for permission to unload the surveillance cameras inside the theater, to reveal the identity of those involved in the incident, stressing that a large legal team is following up on all the details, and that the union has monitored all the offensive pictures and comments that were published or exploited, and the necessary legal measures are being taken regarding them.

Ashraf Zaki stressed that what happened during the private screening of the film is a clear violation of privacy, explaining that these screenings are limited to the heroes of the work and a limited number of media professionals and relatives of the participants, and are not considered a public spectacle, stressing that the union clearly differentiates between private events and funerals or open public events.
