Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, said that the Ministry is currently working to develop the school curricula in a way that achieves a balance between quantity and quality, taking into account alleviating the burdens on students and parents, within the framework of a comprehensive plan to reform the educational process.
Abdul Latif explained during his statements that the new trend focuses on reducing filler in academic courses, and paying attention to the quality of educational content, which helps students gain a deep understanding instead of relying on memorization and memorization.
He also pointed out that the development aims to provide more organized and flexible curricula that suit students’ abilities and age stages.

The Minister of Education added that the Ministry takes into account the complaints of parents and teachers regarding the intensity of the curricula, stressing that there is a continuous review of the curricula to ensure that maximum benefit is achieved without exhausting students.
The Minister stressed that the goal of these amendments is to build a balanced educational system that supports students’ thinking and analytical skills, and at the same time reduces the academic pressures facing Egyptian families.
