Volkswagen and Porsche recall more than 500,000 cars
According to Reuters, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the latest recall procedures on Tuesday (January 6).
The American Volkswagen Group, including its subsidiary Audi, is recalling more than 356,000 cars in the country.
The administration explained that the reason is due to a software glitch that may lead to problems in displaying the rear view camera image.
Volkswagen recorded annual sales in the American market amounting to about 380,000 units in 2024, and about 330,000 units in 2023.
