Fouka Bridge in the Ras El Hekma area, on the Alexandria-Matrouh coastal road, witnessed a sudden ground landing, which raised a state of anxiety among vehicle drivers and citizens passing on the road.
Immediately, the relevant agencies moved to the landing site to inspect it, where a security cordon was imposed and the necessary safety measures were taken, while traffic was temporarily diverted to ensure the security and safety of citizens and prevent accidents.
An official source confirmed to Al-Qaher 24 that the landing did not result in any casualties, while the causes of the landing are currently being evaluated, which are likely to be the result of technical or natural factors, in preparation for the start of repair and maintenance work as soon as possible.
The competent authorities also called on drivers to be careful and adhere to traffic instructions and alternative routes until the repair work is completed and traffic returns to normal.
