Trump said – in his statements reported by CNN today – “the elimination of many Iranian military leaders who led their country poorly and unwisely.”
Trump did not clarify in his post the exact location of the strike in Tehran, which he described as “major,” the people who were killed in it, or the targets it destroyed.
Trump had reminded the Iranian government of his deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz or suffer the consequences, which expires next Monday.
Trump wrote on his account on Truth Social: “Remember when you gave Iran ten days to make an agreement or open the Strait of Hormuz? Time is running out… Only 48 hours before the curse of hell falls on them.”
