In a separate context, Israeli military police attempted to arrest a dissident student from a religious school at his home in Ramat Gan.
Yedioth Ahronoth revealed that members of the military police were surprised by the arrival of dozens of ultra-Orthodox Jews to the scene and sparked a riot, noting that they overturned a military police vehicle.
The protests led to the failure of the arrest operation because the dissident student was not at his home, but at the religious school, and three rioters were arrested.
