A sudden break occurred in a main water pipe on Al Wahat Road towards 6th of October City, near the Mall of Egypt, which led to heavy water flowing on the road and a large traffic congestion in the area, with car traffic slowing down.

Traffic teams and competent authorities immediately moved to the accident site, where they began taking the necessary measures to remove the effects of the fracture and secure the road, in addition to directing drivers towards alternative routes to reduce traffic congestion.
The flow of water led to a significant decline in traffic, with traffic warning car owners to use alternative routes, while the concerned authorities continue to repair the line and return traffic to normal.
