Team prepares Al-Ahly Led by Danish coach Jes Torop, the team’s coach, to complete its journey in the Premier League competition for the current season 2025/2026, facing Wadi Degla.
Cairo International Stadium will host the Al-Ahly and Wadi Degla match in the sixteenth round of the Premier League competition.
The Danish coach seeks to prepare the duo Amr El Gazzar and Moroccan Youssef Belamri, who recently arrived at the Red Castle, in order to participate with Al Ahmar in the Wadi Degla match.
The new duo missed participating with Al-Ahly in their last match, due to Amr El-Gazzar continuing to perform his qualifying program, while Belamri only participated in one training session before the Young Africans match, which made the Dane exclude him from the match.
Yes Torop gave Al-Ahly players a passive rest from group training today, Saturday, after facing Young Africans in the African Champions League, yesterday evening, Friday.
Al-Ahly begins its preparations for its match against Wadi Degla, tomorrow, Sunday, at Mokhtar Al-Touch Stadium, after the end of the negative rest period that the players received.
Al-Ahly will resume its journey in the Premier League competition, after the return of its competitions again, which were halted last period, with the Egyptian national team competing in the African Cup of Nations, in which the Pharaohs ranked fourth.
