The investigating authorities decided to refer Tik Tok Omar Farag and his brother, the owner of the Umm Omar character, to trial on charges of attacking Egyptian family values, misusing social media sites, and publishing inappropriate content.
The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed details of the arrest of TikToker Omar Farag and his brother, the owner of the character Umm Omar, on charges of violating Egyptian family values and misusing social networking sites.
Public Security Sector information and investigations confirmed that a (content maker) filmed video clips showing him and his brother (who has special needs) and that they presented inappropriate content and published it through his personal account on social media sites.
Through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest (the aforementioned content creator and his brother – residents of the Al-Munira Al-Gharbiyah Police Department in Giza), and they admitted to managing the aforementioned account.
