Today, Saturday, South Sinai Governorate is witnessing a slight rise in daytime temperatures in various cities, with noticeable wind activity, while cold weather prevails at night, especially in St. Catherine, where temperatures drop clearly.

Weather highlights
Warm to hot weather during the day in most parts, cool during the night and early morning hours, and active winds at speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h, which may cause sand and dust. Possible decrease in horizontal visibility in some areas

For its part, the Meteorological Authority explained that today, Saturday, is witnessing a rise in temperatures in most parts, and cold weather prevails in the early morning, warm to hot in most parts during the day and cold at night, suspended dust in areas of southern Upper Egypt, and active winds ranging in speed from 30-40 km/h, which may cause sand and dust in areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and the Western Desert, and may lead to deterioration of visibility. The horizontal level will be less than 1000 meters in some areas, and light rain, which may be moderate or severe at times, will be imposed in the evening on areas of the northern coasts and the Western Desert at intermittent intervals.

There are chances of light rain in the evening on areas of the eastern coast and Lower Egypt, which may extend to areas of Greater Cairo at intermittent intervals, and strong wind activity as a result of air descending from beneath the thunderclouds in some areas.

As for the conditions of the Mediterranean Sea, it is moderate, the waves are about 2.25 meters high, and the winds are south-easterly and north-westerly. As for the Red Sea, they are moderate, the waves are about 2 meters high, and the wind direction is south-easterly.
