The efforts of free medical convoys continue in Beheira Governorate, organized by the Supreme Medical and Distress Committee in cooperation with the Egyptian Shifa Bank, and in coordination with Beheira Governorate and civil society institutions, as one of the main axes to support the most vulnerable groups.
Today.. the start of the free medical convoy activities in the village of Al-Janabihi in Al-Buhaira
The activities of the free medical convoy are scheduled to begin in the village of Al-Janabihi in the Hosh Issa Center, today, Wednesday, December 23. The convoy includes the provision of integrated medical services in a number of specialties, including internal medicine, orthopedics, children, dermatology, and ENT, to conduct a medical examination, dispense free treatment, and perform the necessary surgical operations, in accordance with approved social research procedures.
The convoy will also continue its activities tomorrow, Thursday, December 25, by organizing an integrated ophthalmology convoy to serve the people of the village and neighboring villages, dispensing free treatment and performing the necessary surgical operations, in addition to providing medical glasses for eligible cases.
This convoy comes as a continuation of the series of medical convoys implemented by the governorate in cooperation with the Supreme Medical and Distress Committee and the Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank, aiming to support the groups most in need of care and expand the scope of health services in the villages and areas most in need.
For her part, Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, stressed the governorate’s continued support for these free medical convoys and overcoming all obstacles to their implementation, which contributes to improving the level of health services and achieving justice in providing medical care to citizens in all centers and villages of the governorate.
