Today, Saturday, the first semester exams for the 2025/2026 academic year begin in the governorate North SinaiThis is for students in the primary, middle and secondary levels, in public, official language, and private public schools, according to the approved schedules.

The start of the first semester exams for transportation classes in North Sinai

Hamza Radwan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in North Sinai, explained that primary school students take exams on their first day, as students in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades take the Arabic language exam, within the exam committees of various educational departments.

Preparatory school students, in the first and second years of middle school, also take exams in the Arabic language, Arabic calligraphy, and dictation subjects, amid continuous follow-up from educational leaders to ensure the regular conduct of exams within the committees.

He pointed out that secondary school students take their exams, with students in the second year of secondary school taking the Arabic language exam for the literary and scientific sections, while students in the first year of secondary school take the integrated science exam, in accordance with the controls and instructions regulating work within the examination committees.

Radwan explained that the numbers of students participating in the exams were as follows: the third grade of primary school: 19,710 students, the fourth grade of primary school: 20,836 students, the fifth grade of primary school: 21,675 students, the sixth grade of primary school: 22,480 students, the first grade of middle school: 11,782 students, the second grade of middle school: 11,213 students, and the first grade of secondary school: 4,043 students, and the second year of secondary school: 3,701 students.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry confirmed that the North Sinai Directorate of Education follows up on the regular conduct of exams through the main and subsidiary operating rooms of the educational departments, with an emphasis on full compliance with all instructions, providing a safe and appropriate climate for students, and achieving the principle of equal opportunities for all students.
