Today, Saturday, December 20, the Damanhour Criminal Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, held at the Itay El-Baroud Court of First Instance, will hold the second session of the appeal of the accused, Muhammad Saber Al-Sayyid, known as Arour, in the case known in the media as “Turbini Al-Buhaira,” for kidnapping and assaulting children.

The court, headed by Counselor Ashraf Ayyad, President of the Court, and with the membership of Counselors Fakhr al-Din Abdel Tawab al-Darajali, Khaled Muhammad Abu Zaid Shukr, and Mahmoud Muhammad Khalil Ghitas, decided in its last session on November 16 to postpone it until today’s session to plead the defendant’s defense.
During the last session, the defendant’s lawyer requested that the case be postponed for pleading. He also presented testimony stating that the accused was mentally ill, and the victim’s lawyer challenged the testimony forgery.
On September 27, the Damanhour Criminal Court, First District, sitting in the Itay al-Baroud Court of First Instance, sentenced Muhammad Saber al-Sayyid, known as Arour, to death by hanging on charges of kidnapping, deceiving, detaining, and sexually assaulting a minor in the city of Kafr al-Dawwar.
Earlier, the Damanhour Criminal Court, Circuit 13, headed by Counselor Abdel-Ati Masoud Shaala, President of the Court, and with the membership of Counselors Hisham El-Sherif, Tamer Reda, and Mustafa Suleiman, sentenced the accused, Muhammad Saber El-Sayed, known as Arour, a cigarette kiosk owner, to death by hanging, on charges of kidnapping under threat, extortion, theft, and indecent assault on 3 children in the city of Kafr El-Dawwar.
