Al-Azhar secondary school transfer students will conclude their mid-year exams for the 2025/2026 academic year today, Saturday, within 21 Al-Azhar institutes in 4 educational departments, in South Sinai Governorate.
The conclusion of the Al-Azhar secondary school transfer exams for the mid-year in the cities of South Sinai
Dr. Ahmed Badir, head of the central administration for the South Sinai Al-Azhar region, told Cairo 24 that Al-Azhar secondary school students are concluding today, Saturday, the last day of the mid-year exams, which began on Monday, December 22, 2025, and ends today, Saturday, January 3, 2026, amid restrictions and warnings prohibiting the entry of mobile phones into the committees.
Dr. Ahmed Badir confirmed that the Al-Azhar secondary transfer exams take place within 21 Al-Azhar institutes divided into 4 Al-Azhar educational administrations, which are the Tor Sinai Administration, the Dahab Administration, the Ras Sidr Administration, and the St. Catherine Administration. The total number of students who have the right to take the first semester exam is 760 male and female students.
The head of the central administration indicated that there is complete security and coordination between the police and the internal security of the Al-Azhar institutes to fully secure the question centers, as well as through central surveillance cameras for all question centers at the region level, and strict warning to the directors of educational departments and general supervisors to carefully follow up on the examination work, in order for every student to obtain their rights undiminished and to prevent any cases of fraud or riot within the committees, with the presence of detection devices through which male and female students are self-searched, and to prevent the entry of mobile phones or any modern devices that help in the examination. Cheating or causing trouble within committees.
The last day of the Al-Azhari secondary transfer exams
Students in the first year of secondary school, the Literary Division, conclude the last day of exams in history from 9 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Second year students in both divisions
The students of the second year of secondary school, the “Literary” section, will take the exam today, Saturday, the last day of the mid-year exam in Rhetoric 9, until 10:30, and the ancient logic exam from 11:00 until 12:30.
Second-year students in the “scientific” section also take the final day’s exam in mathematics applications from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
It is worth noting that on Monday, January 5, the Al-Azhar primary and preparatory transfer exams will begin in South Sinai, within all Al-Azhar institutes in 4 Al-Azhar administrations in the nine cities of South Sinai.
