Trial of the accused in the October cell
The referral order stated that during the period from 2014, until June 27, 2021, the first and second defendants assumed leadership in a terrorist group, the purpose of which was to call for the disruption of the provisions of the Constitution and laws, prevent state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attack the personal freedom of citizens and public freedoms and rights, and harm national unity and social peace.
The third to the last defendants were charged with joining that group with knowledge of its purposes, and the first, fourth, fifth, nineteenth, and twenty-first defendants were charged with committing terrorist financing crimes, and possessing and transferring money and information to the terrorist group, knowing that it would be used to commit terrorist crimes.
